Inverness from Castle Hill

Raphael Tuck and Sons 'Oilette', Postcard 7677. "Bonnie Scotland" series - Inverness. Postally unused. Desc. on back - "Castle Hill affords a magnificent view of the beautiful town of Inverness and the broad and rapid river on which it is situated. The Ness is here spanned by 4 bridges, two of which are included in the picture. Many well-known travellers have enlarged on the beauties of the position of this town, notably Professor Blackie, who asserted that Inverness could hold its own against the fairest cities he had ever seen."
