Infirmary Bridge and Castle Hill from Ness Walk

Taken 27th October 2009 - but could have been taken 100 years before (if you ignore the white Transit van and other cars barely visible through the bridge).

Thankfully from this angle none of the concrete structures in Bridge Street can be seen, and this view shows the Burgh at its best!

Comments:
My father caught one of the largest salmon taken from the Ness, just below the bridge ( used to be known as Silverwells)- c 1951.

I tip-toed across this bridge to work in the County Buildings in the 70's and 80's - I tip-toed because I wore stiletto heels and they would get stuck in the wooden slats.
